Start approval process Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) acquisition of Oliehandel Klaas de Boer

FincoEnergies, an independent and leading provider of energy solutions, is in talks with Oliehandel Klaas de Boer B.V. for a potential acquisition. With this acquisition, which includes all business activities and associated vessels, FincoEnergies expands its stake along the Dutch coastline. Successfully completing this acquisition is a significant step for FincoEnergies in its transformation into an all-in-one partner for its maritime customers.  

The expansion aligns well with FincoEnergies’ existing portfolio and ambition to support maritime clients further in their sustainability efforts. They will have access to traditional fuels and high-quality lubricants and benefit from our extensive range of sustainable biofuels, such as our GoodFuels products. The vessels of Klaas de Boer are modern and thus a valuable addition to our existing fleet. It enables FincoEnergies to deliver the energy mix of the future better.  

The approval process by the independent regulator ACM has already commenced. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2024. Both Klaas de Boer and FincoEnergies have confidence in a successful completion.
